Preparation

Before the actual treatment, we take the time for a detailed consultation. Together we analyze your wishes and expectations, explain the possibilities and limitations and select a suitable product and procedure.

The intervention

The treatment itself is performed on an outpatient basis and usually takes 20-30 minutes. The hyaluronic acid is injected into precisely defined points using a fine needle. Anesthesia is not usually necessary. If desired, we can apply an anaesthetic cream beforehand.

Aftercare

Initial results are visible immediately, but continue to develop over the following days as the swelling subsides and the hyaluronic acid is fully integrated into the tissue. You should be able to see the final result after about 2 weeks. After the treatment, refrain from kissing, applying lip care and eating or drinking hot food for a few hours. Smoking and alcohol consumption should also be avoided. Sport is possible again after 2 days; you should avoid sunbathing and tanning beds for a week.

The results of hyaluronic acid injections usually last between 6 and 12 months. The treatment can then be repeated.
