Preparation

The first step is a detailed consultation. We check your physical condition and draw up an individual treatment plan. We advise you to refrain from smoking and taking blood-thinning medication for around 2 weeks before the procedure so as not to impair healing.

The intervention

The operation takes 2-3 hours and is usually performed on an outpatient basis. Depending on the method, fat is suctioned out, processed and injected or an implant is inserted. The incisions are made as inconspicuously as possible in skin folds.

Aftercare

After the operation you should:

  • Sleep in prone position for 2-3 weeks
  • Wear compression pants for 6-8 weeks
  • Pause sporting activities for at least 6 weeks

Showering is possible again 3 days after the procedure. Complete healing and shape stabilization take approx. 2-3 months.

Reasons for a
butt augmentation

The shape of the buttocks is strongly influenced by genetics and changes over the course of a person’s life. Even with targeted training and a healthy diet, it is not always possible to achieve the desired volume or ideal curves.

Common reasons for an enlarged buttock:

  • a flat or sagging buttocks
  • Volume loss due to age, pregnancy or weight loss
  • Asymmetries or inharmonious shape of the buttocks
  • Desire for more projection and roundness

With modern procedures, the buttocks can be subtly contoured or significantly enlarged – depending on the desired look.

autologous fat (Brazilian butt lift)

With the Brazilian butt lift, the body’s own fatty tissue is harvested from other areas of the body such as the abdomen, hips or thighs, processed and injected specifically into the buttocks. The procedure offers natural results without foreign material and enables skin tightening and contouring through simultaneous liposuction. As this is the patient’s own tissue, the treatment is very well tolerated.

The fat cells are injected using special cannulas and permanently integrated into the tissue. Some of the injected fat is broken down again, so several sessions may be necessary.

The choice of method depends on the individual situation and the available autologous fat tissue. In many cases, we recommend a combination of fat grafting and implants to achieve optimal results. We will determine the most suitable method for you in a personal consultation.

Butt augmentation with implants

Silicone-based implants offer a stable, shaping alternative for patients with little autologous fat or who desire a greater increase in volume. Advantages:

The implants are inserted through an inconspicuous incision in the gluteal fold – either under the muscle or under the muscle fascia.

Combination of both methods (hybrid method)

For maximum naturalness and volume, the implant is additionally “coated” with autologous fat to achieve a soft transition zone and a natural feel.
