Preparation

The intervention

The operation takes around 60 minutes and is performed on an outpatient basis – under local anesthesia, twilight sleep or, if desired, under general anesthesia. The incision is made in such a way that the scars are barely visible later on.

Aftercare

Particularly gentle hygiene and care are required after the procedure. Pay attention to the following:

  • Sport for at least 2 weeks
  • No sexual intercourse for 6 weeks
  • Daily wound disinfection and gentle cleansing
  • No direct soap or friction in the intimate area
  • Showering possible from day 2, but without heavy drying

Of course, we will inform you in detail in advance about the correct aftercare. The swelling usually subsides completely within 1-2 months. You will usually be able to work again after about one to two weeks.
