The treatment is performed on an outpatient basis and takes around 30-45 minutes, depending on the aim and scope of the treatment. An anaesthetic cream can be applied before the injection to make the session as comfortable as possible for you.

The hyaluronic acid is then injected into the selected areas using a very fine needle or blunt cannula. Particular attention is paid to symmetry, smooth transitions and a natural effect.

Aftercare

After the session, you will usually be fit for social life again immediately and can go about your normal daily routine. Possible slight redness, swelling or small bruises at the puncture sites usually subside within a few days.

You should avoid sport, sauna, intense heat and direct exposure to the sun for 24 hours. An initial result can be seen immediately, while the final result is visible after about 2 weeks. Depending on your individual metabolism, the effect lasts between 6 and 18 months.
